Editorial standards
The rules this publication follows, so each page can be judged on its evidence.
Contents
Sourced and dated
Each factual claim about a system or a vendor links to a source we opened, with the date we read it. Figures published by a vendor are labelled as the vendor's. When we cannot verify a claim, we leave it out.
Fair to every vendor, including Epicor
Each system is described in neutral terms, with its strengths, its limits and the buyers it suits. Epicor is described from its own announcements, and staying with Epicor is treated as a real option. We name the situations in which another system is the better choice.
No paid placement
No vendor pays to be listed, ranked or described. There are no affiliate links.
Trademarks
Product and company names are used only to identify what is being compared. We use no vendor logos, and nothing on this site implies endorsement by any vendor.
AI tools
AI tools help with research and drafting. Every factual statement is checked against its cited source before publication.
